Thailand-Based Coffee-Restaurant Chain Plans Expansion to Middle East.

Jul. 8--The local coffee-restaurant chain Black Canyon (Thailand) plans to more than double its overseas outlets next year with its first outlet in the lucrative Middle East market scheduled to open by year-end.

Managing director Pravit Chitranupong said yesterday the outlet was located in Kuwait's Marina Mall and two more restaurants in the Gulf states, possibly Saudi Arabia, Yemen or Qatar, were due to come online next year.

"The Middle East and neighbouring countries are our focus to expand business out of Thailand at the current stage," Mr Pravit said.
